Moscow, Russia (August 27, 2024): Magnit Market online marketplace (part of Magnit Group) increased the number of its pickup points (PUPs) to 2,000 locations, quadrupling the network originally operated by the KazanExpress online marketplace, which Magnit acquired last fall. All new points were opened in Magnit stores of different formats. Every week, the marketplace opens up to 250 new PUPs.

Magnit Market also significantly expanded its geographical footprint. Today, the marketplace is available to residents of 200 cities, while KazanExpress was represented in 120 cities. The improved coverage was achieved partly by opening pickup points in new locations withing the previously explored regions, and partly by entering the markets of Moscow and Moscow Region.

The expansion of the PUP network will help develop not only Magnit Marketplace, but also the Magnit Post B2B service, which was launched in August. Online stores that join the system can use Magnit’s network of pickup points to deliver orders to their customers. The service is aimed at both federal and Moscow-based online stores interested in customers from regions outside the capital and at regional entrepreneurs looking for an affordable way to deliver their goods to customers from Moscow.

All new Magnit Market PUPs are located in Magnit Convenience stores and Magnit Cosmetic drogeries. About 200 of the marketplace’s pickup points operate around the clock.
